Launch of the Creativity Program Beta 💰: the latest addition to TikTok’s range of monetization tools that support creators of all levels in being rewarded. This update, which some are calling ‘Creator Fund 2.0”, will initially be available invite-only and then eventually to all eligible US creators in the coming months. To be eligible, users will need to be at least 18 years old, meet the minimum follower and video view requirements, and have an account in good standing. TikTok rolls out new Dedicated Feeds 💡: With the introduction of categories like food, fashion, gaming, and sports, TikTok is making it easier for users to find the content they’re looking for faster than ever before. The new interface intends to make things simpler for users, giving them the choice of whether to watch a video related to that topic or just stay updated with the latest news. US brands testing TikTok’s Shop feature 🛒: TikTok is advancing its mission to make its app the ultimate shopping destination by welcoming more brands on board for their Shop feature, which allows customers to purchase goods directly on the app with a streamlined checkout process. Recently, Ad Age reported that apparel companies PacSun, Revolve and Willow Boutique as well as beauty brand KimChi Chic have joined the testing period of this program in the US. With just a few taps, users can access these brands’ catalogs and easily complete their purchases without ever leaving the app.
